Behind the Batch

Why We Pre-Order (For Now)

Pre-orders aren't just a phase. They're how we keep things fresh, experiment without waste, and make sure every bottle and bake actually feels like it was made for you.

When we tell people we run on weekly pre-orders, the most common reaction is: “oh, so you're not a real shop yet?”

Fair. But also - kind of the point.

Pre-ordering means everything is made the week you order it. The cold brew is freshly brewed. The cookies aren't sitting in a display case for three days. No leftover batches getting older as the week drags on.

It also lets us experiment without throwing things away. New flavour for the cold brew? We test it in small numbers first. Try a new brownie ratio? You'll be one of the first to taste it.

We'll get to a permanent menu eventually. But for now, weekly batches let us stay obsessive about the details - which is the whole reason we started this in the first place.

Order before the weekly cut-off. We bake and brew. Pickup or delivery the same week. Repeat.
